At Moore Presentations,
we understand productions; and if you’ve ever
moved offices; you know what a production it can be!
Moore Presentations recently moved into a larger space
in the Melbourne Tower, wanting to continue our seven
year relationship. As anyone can imagine the stress
levels were high!
The staff at the Melbourne Tower made it easy to make
the move. Prior to the move we were given open access
to the space since it was vacant. During the build out
process, they were always available and even helped
us to secure reliable contractors who were reasonably
priced.
On a day to day basis when we have a question or a problem
they are very quick to respond and in a professional
way with a great attitude. The owners and staff at the
Melbourne Tower make it fun to deal with them.

It is a real pleasure to work
in the Melbourne Tower. Because Melbourne is a relatively
small, historic building, we have a personal relationship
with the building owners and management staff. We find
this especially refreshing after dealing with the management
of our former office building, which was a huge, impersonal
environment. Previously, we often waited 24 hours for
building staff to respond to our service calls. In the
Melbourne Tower, we always get service within a couple
of hours, and usually within 20 or 30 minutes, even if
the situation is not an emergency.
The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Communication
is excellent; we are always informed of changes in personnel
or policies. The owners are flexible and reasonable with
regard to contract-negotiation and tenant-improvement
issues. They genuinely care about their tenants.
One of the most appealing features about the Melbourne
Tower is its location, in the downtown core of Seattle.
It is one block away from Macy's, two blocks from Westlake
Center, and two blocks from the Pike Place Market. There
are dozens of restaurants and shops in the immediate area.
Commuting is easy because all downtown Metro buses travel
within a two- or three-block radius of the building.
There is always a lovely display of green or blooming
plants in the lobby, and at Christmastime every tenant
office receives a beautiful poinsettia. The building only
has 10 floors, which creates a sense of intimacy; we almost
feel like family with the other tenants in the building.
Stairwells are kept locked, and after hours tenants can
only access their own floors using keys and an electronic
keycard system, so my co-workers feel safe even when they're
working in the wee hours of the morning.
Overall the building is warm, welcoming and hospitable,
especially compared to the ultra-modern high-rise buildings
being erected throughout Seattle's urban core. In my constant
struggle with the chaotic atmosphere of a 21st-century
city, I like to think of the Melbourne Tower as a small
oasis, reflecting a 19th-century tradition of care, professionalism,
and courtesy.
